In fact, we are currently the only Calibration Laboratory in the UK that provides an ISO 17025 accredited Calibration service for such instruments. AMECaL is also a brand of electrical and environmental equipment for professionals.

 

Alcolmeters/Breathalysers are used extensively by Police Forces around the world, mainly for screening but also for evidence from testing, and is Type Approved by the Home Office, Great Britain, for UK Police use in the United Kingdom.

Periodic Calibration of these instruments ensures that the sensor is in optimal working condition, results will be accurate and accuracy will be consistent. Calibration also ensures that all components of the Alcolmeters/Breathalysers are working properly, free of defects and are well maintained, extending the overall lifespan of the instrument.

We at AMECaL understand that every customer has individual requirements. We offer two types of calibration services to our clients. Alcolmeters/Breathalysers can be calibrated in accordance to the ISO 17025 international standard (ISO 17025 Alcolmeter/Breathalyser calibration) or the British National Standard (traceable Alcolmeter/Breathalyser calibration).
