Ammeter Calibration

AMECaL is a Precision Calibration Laboratory with over 15 years of experience in working with ammeters. Our company is accredited with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by Perry Johnson Laboratories to work with electrical and environmental test equipment. We sell our own brand of professional tools like AMECaL ST-3343 Clamp Meter and AMECaL ST-3347 True RMS Clamp Meter which are equivalents of ammeters.

An ammeter is a piece of electrical test equipment used to measure the current in electric power systems. The device is also known as Ampere Meter. Amperes are units used in measurement of electric current and are represented by letter (A) in a circuit. There are many different models of ammeters, like instruments used to measure smaller currents. Milliammeters measure milliampere and microammeters measure microampere. Our laboratory can calibrate all types and models of ammeters.

Any test or measuring equipment should be re-calibrated over time. It is advisable to perform this service every 6 – 12 months. Temperature, humidity, pressure and human handling can have strong impact in terms of performance of any test instrument. Our company offers the best solution to this problem.

Our laboratory offers two types of services for all our customers. We calibrate in accordance to the British National Standard (traceable ammeter calibration) or ISO/IEC 17025:2017  international standard (ISO 17025 ammeter calibration). Our laboratory is equipped with state of the art test equipment, including high accuracy calibrators to meet requirement of the most demanding customers.
