Micrometer Calibration

AMECaL is a precision calibration laboratory specialised in working with measure instruments. We are accredited with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by Perry Johnson Laboratories which is the highest award to get in our field of work. AMECaL is specialised in micrometer calibration services and it has over 15 years of experience in working with these instruments.

One of the best instruments to measure components in mechanical engineering and machining is a micrometer. It is widely used in most mechanical trades alongside other instruments like dials, verniers or digital calipers. Usually, but not always, a micrometer is constructed similarly to a caliper and it has opposing ends joined by frame. The object to be measured is placed between spindle and anvil.

Micrometers like many other measuring instruments are exposed to external factors like temperature, humidity and pressure which can have huge impact on their performance. What is the purpose of measuring tool that is not precise and accurate? To resolve this problem the best thing to do is to perform professional calibration services every 6 – 12 months. AMECaL has internationally recognised accreditation in this field of work which is also a quality label for our services.

AMECaL offers two types of calibration services to its customers. We strongly believe that every client has individual requirements and that is why our technicians can calibrate any type, make or model of micrometer win accordance to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international standard (ISO 17025 micrometer calibration) or the British National Standard (traceable micrometer calibration).

AMECaL is also a leading brand of electrical and environmental test equipment that is used by professionals all around the world. Our laboratory is taking an active part in research and development process of new measure tools and we owe one of the most accurate high-end calibrators on this planet.
