Salinity Meter Calibration
AMECaL is a laboratory specialised in salinity meter calibration services (salinometer calibration). We are accredited with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by Perry Johnson Laboratories. Our company was established in 2004 and over the years we calibrated and repaired many different makes and models of salinity meters. At present time the company has thousands of happy customers that can rely on our professional calibration services. AMECaL sells its own brand of electrical and environmental test equipment to all customers around the world.
A salinity meter is a test equipment used to measure the salinity or dissolved salt content of a given solution. Salt that is present in a solution affects its gravity and electrical conductivity (micromhos measurement). The device itself uses hydrometer or EC meter to test and convert the result to salinity reading. If the test indicates to high reading, a warning light or an alarm is triggered.
Electrical and environmental test equipment should be calibrated every 6 – 12 months to ensure its accuracy and precision. Humidity, temperature, pressure and human handling of any tool can have strong impact on its performance. Our laboratory offers the best solution to this problem.
AMECaL offers two types of calibration services to its customers. We understand that every person or company have different requirements. Our company can calibrate any electrical or environmental test equipment in accordance to the British National Standard (traceable salinity meter calibration) or ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international standard (ISO 17025 salinity meter calibration).
