Wattmeter Calibration
AMECaL is one of the leading precision calibration laboratories with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for most of its services, including wattmeter calibration. Our company was established in 2004 and over the years we managed to calibrate and repair many electrical and environmental test instruments. Our laboratory is accredited by Perry Johnson Laboratories (PJLA) and its services are done to the best possible internationally recognised standard.
A wattmeter is an electrical test instrument that is used to measure in watts the electric power (or the rate of electrical energy) of a given circuit. There are many different types of these instruments (like digital and analog) and our laboratory can calibrate all of them. Wattmeter calibration is one of our specialities. We have very strong expertise in working with electrical test instruments.
Every electrical and environmental test equipment will lose its accuracy and precision due to exposure to temperature, humidity, pressure and inappropriate human handling. It is advisable to re-calibrate wattmeter by ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, like AMECaL, every 6 – 12 months to ensure its proper working order.
We understand that every customer has its own custom requirements in terms of repair and calibration. AMECaL currently offers to types of services for its customers around the world. We can calibrate any make or model of wattmeter in accordance to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard (ISO 17025 wattmeter calibration) or to the British National Standard (traceable wattmeter calibration).
AMECaL is also a brand of professional electrical and environmental test equipment that is used by specialists around the world. We not only sell test instruments but also develop our own calibrators that are the most accurate on this planet.
